‘The Piranhas’ – by the sonny

March 1, 2012

Note: You know what it is to write just for the sake of writing? THIS!

The little piranhas just go snap,
At the sight of a prey in lap.
In just three minutes flat,
The little piranhas go snap, snap snap.

If you dip your finger in a lake full of piranhas
Your finger’s flesh just hang out right.
The only fear the piranhas really have,
Are that of blue whales which swallow their like.

I wouldn’t like to dip my hand,
In a bucket full of those snappy-snappers.
If you would like to dip yours in a bucket of piranhas
Just contact me flat, flat, flat..

- By Vyas
——————————————————–

He has to end it like that- By Vyas and all that! And what he would do if anyone contacts him, am sure even he has no clue!

PS: He tells me that the English teacher had asked them all to write a poem. So, he chose to write about Piranhas of all things!

Yo ladies, the boy is all set to clad a khadi kurta and a jholna bag with a book or two in it, with big soda-bottle glass (the glass is already there, though no soda buddi), and hawai chappal.. I’m dreading how I’d hunt for a bride who can whack some sense into the fellow.. I have hopes after all.. what with offers from Science families.. I promise to be a good mil.. I have two boys you see:)) For Varun, i’m going to demand a hefty dowry- and that will be the BLUE JEANS;-)

    I luvvv the ending :) !
And now some GK: I saw an episode on discovery that showed kids swimming in a river full of piranhas. There were some women cleaning up some fish (for cooking) and the piranhas were only after the remains thrown into the water by the women. They did not attack the humans swimming in water.

Do teachers ask to write poems? Seriously? Do all his classmates write their own poems?

[I am going to get a soda and keep near me...I am going to faint...If you reply "Yes"..someone near me can sprinkle some soda and get me up]

    • March 12, 2012 9:33 am

Don’t faint yet.. Yes, the kids do… At least they all attempt and write something that pass off as a poem.. They are not graded based on that though.. A fun, lab activity:)

Yo ladies, the boy is all set to clad a khadi kurta and a jholna bag with a book or two in it, with big soda-bottle glass (the glass is already there, though no soda buddi), and hawai chappal – Errr…we love people with khadi kurtas and jholna bags. R would b interested to know if he carries any food in the jholna bag and if she can try out his soda bottle kanadis :) …and of course just for additional reinforcement of the family ties, please note that R is following her BIL’s footsteps of the blue jeans! Its a post in itself..someday I will write!!

so I guess, jodi jamegi ;)

    • March 12, 2012 9:35 am

  17. March 9, 2012 6:08 am

a horse and its rider can be eaten by piranhas in a small pond in seven minutes – this is the only thing i know about piranhas and i read it from the landmark carry bag. this boy knows too much.

    how did his exams go?

    • March 12, 2012 9:40 am

someone else also mentioned abt the landmark cover carrying this info:) right now, he is neck deep into HP world and will score an ace if the questions were from that.. exams are still on, but we’ll answer only from HP:) the rest is out of syllabus!
